Campus Agreement
Campus Agreement is an annual comprehensive licensing program for higher education institutions that helps you keep your technology up to speed in two very important ways:
- By ensuring that your Microsoft software is always current, helping you avoid unbudgeted costs for software upgrades.
- By reducing the administrative requirements for managing software compliance, software support and system downtime.
In summary, you pick and choose which products to license from the list of Microsoft titles below. Your faculty and staff are licensed to run the most current version of the software products included in your agreement for a 12 month term and your institution automatically receives media for products that upgrade during your agreement term. Microsoft also offers a 3 year option, which provides a guarantee that Microsoft's price to its distributors will not increase for over the course of the 3 year term. Faculty and staff have work-at-home use rights for selected products. You can also add on students for a fraction of the cost of faculty and staff. The titles offered for inclusion are:
- Microsoft Office® Standard & Professional Editions
- Microsoft Office Macintosh® Edition
- Microsoft Windows® Desktop Operating System (OS) Upgrades
- Microsoft Core Client Access License (CAL)
- Microsoft Visual Studio®
- Microsoft Visio® Professional Edition
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft FrontPage®
- Microsoft Publisher
The price of the Campus Agreement subscription is dependent on the products chosen and the number of full-time equivalent employees you have (your FTE count). Student Select
If the pay-upfront Student Option is not feasible for your campus, consider Microsoft Student Select to provide great pricing for your students.
Student Select is an add-on to Campus Agreement that allows you to pass along Academic Select pricing to students. It requires no upfront student license purchase by the institution and HiEd can manage all aspects of license sales to students either direct or in partnership with your bookstore.
